Lithianian Dream

I should admit that Lithuania was the best place I have ever chosen as my vacation goal. I fell in love with this wonderful country at a first sight. My vacation in Lithuania was not long but I really enjoyed those 10 days I spent in this wonderful country. I cannot say Lithuania is rich in sights but I really loved people who live there. Everyone I met there was really kind and helpful to me. Besides, I fell in love with the Lithuanian cuisine. It was very unusual for me. For example, I have never thought it would ever be possible to mix sunflowers seeds, garlic and cheese. But in fact labas, they call the dish I just mentioned this way, appeared to be very delicious and nutricious. I also should admit that the Lithuanians are very close to the nature. There are many national parks in this country and I was lucky to visit Zhemaitskiy National Park. The campsite located in this park was really good. The service was excellent and not very expensive. Besides, there was a good restaurant, sauna and even billiards! I liked there a lot and now I am thinking of spending my next summer vacation in one of the Lithuanian campsites.

Holidays in Czechia

I adore vacation on the nature (it is also called agro tourism), so I have been considering several countries where I can go this summer. I don’t know why but I have stopped my choice on Czech Republic. I was told that there are various wonderful regions there like Bohemia or Šumava where the nature is wonderful. Besides, only there one can find excellent marked hiking trails. These regions considered to be very picturesque and have all the conditions for country vacation. Besides, a friend of mine told me that it is possible to find an apartment in Czechia on the internet. There are many property ads by private landlords, so now I have just to search for some and choose the apartment where I’d like to stay during my vacation in Czechia. On the whole, I still have some things to be planned and then I can leave for Czech Republic. I hope that I will have an excellent vacation!

Holiday in Liguria

I've heard about the region of Liguria and Ligurian mild climate, clean beaches and crystal sea from my friends who visited it so when I was planning where to go on my vacation I decided to go there. I chose to go to Andorra that is an ancient and lively city in Liguria. There is excellent hotel service so I booked a room at a hotel. I enjoy diving and in this town there are splendid possibilities for it. There are 2 diving centers in Andorra with diving training courses for everyone. I saw the rocky seabed with sunken wreck from the period of World War II. I was in a special shelter built for whales on the Ligurian coast and enjoyed watching these big mammals. I visited the castle built in the 13th century by Clavesana and Ligurian Church Holy Giacomo and Fillippo. Besides I walked through the Roman Bridge with its 10 arches built in the Middle Ages. I got many unusual impression and am sure that this holiday in Liguria will not be forgotten for a long time.

Beach Vacation in Venice

I have been dreaming of going to the seaside for a long time. But I didn't want to go to Turkey as it was really hot there in summer and then there were only hotels offered to stay at. I didn't want to stay at a hotel at all. Besides, I spent my vacation in Turkey for several times, so that was another reason not to go there. I decided to search for the right destination on the internet and at last I found it - Venice. That was the right place I really wanted to go to. So I went to Chioggia on holidays. I easily found an apartment there not far from the beach. I can't say my vacation in Venice was an active one but I still liked it very much. Every day I went to the beach to get suntanned. I usually tried to go there in the mornings as in the day time I usually tried to do the sights. E.g. I visited Venice, the city on the water. I visited almost all the museums of the city, and I especially liked the Jewish museum. While in Venice, I also enjoyed its cuisine. They really can make very delicious fish dishes and risotto. I also visited such cities as Albano Terme and Verona where I also liked very much. In the evenings I liked to walk along the quiet streets of Chioggia discovering the beauty of the city. I even made friends with some of the locals so I had a really excellent rest in Venice.

Trip to St Petersburg

They say travel is more than the seeing of sights. It is a change that goes on, deep and permanent in the ideas of living. I haven't travelled much yet and haven't gone on long journeys either, but I am found of travelling and I have already been to a few places. Last summer I made an exciting trip to St.Petersburg. I went there with my friends. Petersburg is named the cultural capital of Russia. It was a fascinating trip, because we visited different museums (the Hermitage, the Russian  museum), a huge number of outstanding architectural ensembles: the Aleksandro-Nevsky monastery, the Smolny, the Zimny palace est. the suburb of Petersburg - Peterhof was the country residence of Russian emperors. There is the complex of Russian emperors.  We didn't have much time, our trip was only 3 days, but also we visited shops and supermarkets. And of course, we had breakfast, dinner and supper in different restaurants, I tasted Japanese food. We managed to visit so many places in St.Petersburg because we didn't stay at a hotel. We rented a nice 3-roomed holiday apartment and were really satisfied with our choice.

Spend your Ski Vacation in Europian Ski Resorts

Saas Fee - Switzerland
With a ski area between 1,800m and 3,500m and access to a glacier, Saas Fee is a favourite destination for pre-season ski tests and late-season powder hounds. While there are only 140km of pistes, a good number of these are on the glacier and those that aren’t are equipped with snow cannons meaning that snow is pretty much guaranteed and an all year ski holiday is possible. The resort exudes the sort of Swiss alpine charm that many other high resorts lack in their starkness.
Cervinia, Italy
Located on the other side of the Matterhorn to Zermatt, this Italian resort gets better snow than its neighbour and has direct access to the huge glacier on the Klein Matterhorn. Set at 2,050m, Cervinia is the more affordable option in the newly-named Matterhorn Ski Paradise but still enjoys a good share of the ski areas of Valtournenche and Cervinia. The Cervinia bowl is an intermediate's heaven and has plenty of off-piste for powder junkies to play on. For a leg-burner, try the 14km run all the way from the Swiss-Italian border down to the resort. Head down to the village for a good selection of rustic Italian restaurants such as the Chalet Etoile by the Plan Maison chair.
Norway
If you are after something a little off the beaten track, try Norway. With guaranteed snow of the kind the Alps can only dream about, the scenery of fjords and lakes is magical. At night you can even catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights. Norway is a favourite with ski tourers thanks to its abundance of cross-country routes. The terrain is varied and immense and the ski slopes are wide with modern lifts. The abundance of snow means there is also plenty for non-skiers to do such as dog sledding, tobogganing and ice fishing.
